Ever wonder why you’re stepping on your partners feet when trying to waltz? Learn the basics of waltzing with or without a partner. We will look at body positioning, foot work, and matching your internal rhythm to the music while relaxing into the groove. Come join us from 6-7 pm prior to our regularly scheduled contra dance (7 pm).

The waltz workshop and contra dance will take place at Christ Episcopal Church - Parish Hall, 37497 Zach Fowler Road, Chaptico, MD.

Admission $12.00 non-members, members $8.00, children age 17 and under are free but must be accompanied by an adult.

Water is provided, but feel free to bring a refillable bottle to stay hydrated. There will be an ice cream social during the intermission.
